Chapter Life
Membership in Gamma Phi Beta offers a wide variety of programs and activites to enhance your collegiate expereince. We build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us. We strive to live our values of Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty in all areas of our lives; philanthropy, classes, social events, and our overall presence on the Michigan campus.
Love
We promote lifelong commitment, intellectual and personal growth, and service to humanity. In Gamma Phi Beta we prioritize the love and respect we have for one another and ourselves. We value the individual worth and contribution of each member, and we make a commitment to be sisters and to love each other.
Learning
We pride ourselves in scholastic excellence and acknowledge that it was our pursuit of our education that brought us to Gamma Phi Beta, and thus believe it is important for us to maintain a good academic standing. On average, our members are involved in two additional student organizations at the University of Michigan.
Labor
We encourage our members to be involved in Gamma Phi Beta, the FSL community, and our local communities. We are proud of our philanthropic focus of Building Strong Girls. We believe that all girls have the potential to reach their goals and dreams and are proud to partner with local organizations that inspire young girls.
Loyalty
Gamma Phi Beta is a lifetime commitment and connection to each other and our sisterhood. We perpetuate our heritage as we commit to the growth of our Beta chapte. With over 191,000 initiated Gamma Phi Beta's world wide, we are proud to be members of such a strong and
vibrant sisterhood.
